Verbos en pasado

Regulares: dropped, stopped, opened, arrived, hurried, looked, remembered, picked

DROP (dejar caer) Y STOP: Son verbos monosílabos que acaban en consonante, vocal consonante. Por lo tanto, doblan la última consonante antes de añadir ED

Hurry y play: son verbos acabados en “Y”. Todos los verbos que delante de la “Y” lleven una vocal, añaden –ed sin cambios. Pero si llevan delante de la “Y” una consonante, cambia a “i” y añaden –ed.

- What did you eat for breakfast? – I ate toast and a coffee
- Who did you see yesterday? – I saw my English teacher
- What did you do last night? – I watched TV, I went dancing, I went to the cinema
